Lillymunster 49 Posted February 19, 2018 Where do you go to meet people? I’m not a bar or club person. And I live in a fairly remote area. Do people still use Match.com or anything? I’m not necessarily looking for something super serious but the last time I was on one of those sites it seemed to be full of people who never wanted to meet or I’d just get random inappropriate pictures. Mattymatt 491 Posted February 20, 2018 Some years ago, I did the online dating thing and had some success. Since becoming obese and dealing with depression, I sidelined the dating effort. eHarmony and Match.com are always worth a try. My last long term relationship began with an eHarmony date. If you feel adventurous, you could try craigslist. I once met someone and had a 2 month relationship which was fun while it lasted.

SeattleJava 21 Posted March 12, 2018 Volunteering or community activities can often spark some great connections with people who share your values and interests. Kaseyn2boys 69 Posted September 22, 2018 I was wondering about this too. I do not get out much, just work and home. I have been single for almost 14 years so I don't know if it will ever happen, but I thought maybe in a year or so I would have a chance.

MargoCL 677 Posted September 24, 2018 I met my boyfriend on Tinder, but the sites that worked best for me (I live in NC) were plenty of fish, tinder, zoosk, and Ok Cupid. They seemed to have the least fake profiles. I wasn't lucky with match or eharmony. I also met some great people through "meetup" which is really a group activities app, dinner clubs, sports, biking, etc. It's all trial and error. Take your time, have fun and use the various apps to help build confidence.
insta_adventurer 1,046 Posted September 24, 2018 I met the fella who is now my husband on okcupid. I liked it because it was free and asked a ton of compatibility questions.
