dreamingsmall 1,125 Posted February 21, 2018 Weight loss is personalized to you, your body, how well you follow the program and willingness not to fail. Someone in my support group had posted this. This makes me happy. I was ,244 on surgery day. 50lbs by 3 months 70+ lbs 6/7 month. But now it's really wanting to slow down. I'm embracing that the closer I am to goal the slower it will go. But makes me feel better that I'm doing well but who created this chart on what calculationsSent from my Vivo 5R using Tapatalk
mitchjoann132010 288 Posted February 28, 2018 I went to Sam's Club today and bought the Premier Protein shakes. I hate Protein Powder because no matter how you mix it thry still have a gritty consistency. I heard the shakes are creamier and not gritty. Sams Club sells the 12 pack of shakes for $16.66. I bought the following:4 banana and Cream4 Oreo and Cream1 Peaches and Cream1 Strawberries and CreamAt 2 shakes a day this covers me for 60 days and gives me at least 60 grams of Protein a day meeting my minimum. My surgery is April 18 and my liquid diet technically does not start until April 6 however I'm starting a diet of 2 shakes and 1 low carb high protein meal now February 28. This way if I give in I can pick back up and succeed 2 weeks pre op. I also want to lose as much as I can pre op so I can have an easier recovery. My HW was 235 and CW is 220. Lets see if I can get under 200 before surgery. I'm 5 feet tall on the dot.Sent from my SM-T813 using BariatricPal mobile app 2 mitchjoann132010 and GreenTealael reacted to this

Angel11 126 Posted March 1, 2018 Thank you so much for posting this. I was really getting down on myself after reading many posts of others weight loss. The few appointments post op w my surgeon, him & his staff, praised me, on my progress! I was advised 1-2 pounds per week. Those who have exceeded that, kuddos to you!! God Bless!! 1 mitchjoann132010 reacted to this
Yettid 67 Posted March 1, 2018 I'm 5'0 and 218lbs. I heard that at these figures I will lose much slower. Does anybody have any experience being short and in the lower 200's? How fast did you lose? (I know a slower rate is best but realistically with WLS its different) I'm getting Gastric Sleeve April 2018!!!!!!!!!! Yayy!!!!!!!
Yettid 67 Posted March 1, 2018 I’ve only been sleeved about a month. SW 219 cw 199 @ 5 feet. That includes losing a few pounds pre-op diet for a week. 3 whitmac, mitchjoann132010 and jbernard1220 reacted to this

dreamingsmall 1,125 Posted March 9, 2018 I also heard the slower you lose the more your body adjusts so there could be a lot less excess skin!!!I'm sorry to say. That for most people even those who lose slow still get a hell of alot of exxcess skin if they lose alot of weight not trying to be a kill joy don't want you to be disappointed if you find you have alot of skin.but your weight is not so high so can be managed with spanx I love my spanxSent from my Vivo 5R using Tapatalk
