Losebig 508 Posted February 17, 2018 I’ve done pulled chicken and as long as you chew a lot it is good and a bit less fatty. You should be fine, but watch the portion if you are sensitive to fatty items 1 goldenbarbie reacted to this

Guest darcy9535 Posted March 29, 2018 I was sleeved in november and I've had it just fine. Just no bread but the meat felt totally fine. Sent from my VS987 using BariatricPal mobile app

jennypenny1998 41 Posted April 4, 2018 I had my sleeve done in October and I still can't eat it I get extremely nauseous. I guess it just depends on the person. Or maybe I just need to eat it prepared in a different way 1 goldenbarbie reacted to this

Doctor said I’ll be fine but I’m still a little nervous to try (and yes I still call him about every and any little food question ) Current weight: 170 In my neck of the woods, we eat BBQ pulled pork. Is this how you eat it? The reason I ask is I realized early on that BBQ Sauce has A LOT of sugar in it. This can cause dumping and discomfort. I did find that there is an EXCELLENT sugar free BBQ sauce option, its called G Hughes. I buy it from Walmart . Thanks! =) I'm not sure if Creekimp13's recipe is different than mine, but it's basically pork tenderloin in bottom of the crock pot pour BBQ Sauce on top and cook on low for 5-6 hours then shed in the pot (easiest thing in the world). I did a similar experiment with beef (chuck) roast (seared off in a pan first) in the crock pot with trader joes Korean BBQ sauce and it was amazing.

MBird 298 Posted April 5, 2018 I’m 14 months post opp. Haven’t had pulled pork yet, has anyone else if so how did it affect you? Doctor said I’ll be fine but I’m still a little nervous to try (and yes I still call him about every and any little food question [emoji23][emoji23]) Current weight: 170 You’ve not had pulled pork in 14 months? That’s wild. I started eating chicken, pork, beef about a month out. But I chew it into a mush. You have to, and you have to go slow. I needed the Protein and that protein, especially pork, will keep you satiated a long, long time. So yes! Pulled pork is fine, it can be turned very soft. Just remember to chew chew chew and go slow. Or maybe I just need to eat it prepared in a different way [emoji4] No worries! Don’t rush. Everyone’s sleeve is different just go with your own pace. I didn’t eat many things until I reached my 12 months cause I get sick easily but my results are amazing. The people saying they eat everything so early are the ones with much different results and I see them complaining on other threads. So it’s ok! I still always choose chicken over pork stomach wise 1 jennypenny1998 reacted to this
