Seahawks Fan 771 Posted February 14, 2018 (edited) So yeah everything has been going great until last night. I never thought or felt like this would happen but then I had just one bite to much & had a run in with my arch enemy RALPH! It wasn’t to bad but I don’t want to do this again! Weighing with a food scale or using a measuring cup from here on out. Edited February 14, 2018 by Seahawks Fan 1 FluffyChix reacted to this
blizair09 3,250 Posted February 14, 2018 (edited) Puking freaks me out. Especially in the early days, it was a big motivator for weighing food, eating specific amounts, and never getting to the point of full (let alone overly full). I’ll be 4 weeks out on Thursday & it’s definitely a concern getting sick even once this early on & so not worth the risk. I’m going to be sure to eat no more than half a cup moving forward. 1 blizair09 reacted to this

That’s a great stay there! I never actually imagined I would throw up as good as I’ve felt since surgery.

I just ate faster than usual. At any rate my fault & lesson learned. Excuses won’t undo what has already happened. Time to move forward & be more cautious from here on out. I haven't actually thrown up but have gotten "the slimies" a few times. Every damned time has been due to eating chicken. Either it was from not chewing well enough or eating a bit too fast. It still amazes me in a matter of 10 seconds I could go from "I feel fine" to "I'm going to throw up right now!" Luckily I'd make it to the bathroom and not actually get sick. The slimies are damn near as bad as getting sick. Some days I think it would have been better to have thrown up and got it over with. 1 Seahawks Fan reacted to this

It was not actual food but more like slimy phlegm. Not being gross just a realist. 1 FluffyChix reacted to this

Yep...that's what I've had too. It's awful to go through. If I have chicken salad I'm fine because I typically shred that. If I'm eating a solid chicken breast that's when I have to be really careful. Otherwise I've gotten a full feeling from other foods but nothing else has pushed me to getting sick like chicken has. Seahawks Fan 771 Posted February 14, 2018 I haven’t had much chicken but I’ll take you at your word & be careful when I do have some.

Sometimes we are in a hurry in this fast paced life. We have no choice but to SLOW DOWN and enjoy! Lesson learned I guess right?
