Jogar0804 22 Posted March 27, 2018 Got sleeved yesterday morning and now I’m home. I’m in a little bit of pain because of the gas but I’m managing. I’m in a full liquid diet which is better. I had some doubts Sunday night before surgery but I’m glad I went through with it. It’s a lifestyle that I need/want to be better and live longer 5 FluffyChix, Apple203, clsumrall and 2 others reacted to this

FloridaGal1976 77 Posted March 27, 2018 I've been having back pain since my surgery, and it's only gotten worse. Trying to avoid seeing a chiropractor, so I had my first massage last night by a high school friend that also had the sleeve last year. I described my pain to her and she did a deep tissue massage. REGRETTING IT. I've been sick to my stomach ever since. Threw up last night, and have been nauseous ever since. Woke up this morning feeling the worst I've felt since surgery. Just awful. Went to work and my boss asked me if I was okay. Told her about my massage and she said the massage released toxins into my system, which is why I got sick, but that since I'm not able to drink enough Water to flush the toxins out, they're sitting on my stomach making me sick. She used to be a massage therapist. She said I should've asked my doctor before getting the massage, but honestly, I never had a massage before so I didn't even think about it. Just FYI for those that experience the same back pain I've had. HW 241SW 238 Pre-op dietCW 206GW 130Sleeved 3/1/

WoodyDNA 3 Posted March 28, 2018 My surgery was March12th, VGS. I am 16 days post op or two weeks. Honestly, I was nervous. I think it was more because of the challenge that was ahead. However, I survived the procedure (barely) and my pain and soreness has subsided. I've walked everyday since being discharged taking it slow and steady building endurance. Please don't over do it. The weakness is real for me in the mornings. I think it's your decision if you want to let others in on your decision. I'll say, without my family and really close friends, it would have been a challenge. They are there to help. Let them. God's speed to you all. Let's get healthy... 1 clsumrall reacted to this
