What type of advice can you guys offer for friends/family members who want to support? My best friend/ roommate wants to support me but doesn't know how. Being that I'm in the early stages of this process, what are something your friends / family members did or didn't do to support before, during and after surgery?

My hubby keeps ice cream, soda, candy, chips and fast food....at work now. My kiddo sends healthy recipes and we have cook offs and exchange pix of the new dishes we're trying. My bestie takes me walking.
