Pain around top port site

The top most port site just left of my sternum is quite painful. I get a strange burning pressure which is very uncomfortable. It happens about twice an hour but only last a few seconds. Is this normal?

Ah yes sorry. Sleeved 4 days ago. Home yesterday. Is it common to have a port so close to the sternum?

I was in pain until my port was removed (10 days post op ) then almost instantly I felt better
