Creekimp13 5,840 Posted February 9, 2018 (edited) http://www.journalacs.org/article/S1072-7515(17)32195-6/fulltext New Study....if you lose 8% or more of your body weight pre-op, evidence suggests you'll have a greater rate of post-op weight loss over 1 year, a shorter operation, and a shorter hospital stay. All really good reasons to take your preop diet seriously:) https://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/892400#vp_2 check out the loss chart differences! FluffyChix 17,415 Posted February 9, 2018 Wow going to read it now. That's exciting! I'm around a 21% pre-op loss. (But hey, I've been at this for 10 months...)
MsTipps 314 Posted February 9, 2018 Awww I stuck to my preop diet and didn't lose much at all. Hope I'm not doomed. Did have an easy op apart from a bad asthma attack and a reaction to the anaesthetic and was home after 1 day so it's not all bad x 1 FluffyChix reacted to this
