sillykitty 10,780 Posted February 8, 2018 (edited) Has anyone used any clothing rental services while they were rapidly losing weight? !'m in sales and meet with customers often. I need to dress professionally, usually in dresses, but skirt /blazers or pant suites are an option too, approximately twice a week, and business casual approximately 2 additional days per week. I really don't want to buy clothes in sizes I'll only wear for a month or so, and alterations are slow and costly. I am considering clothing rental services. But the only one I've found that has both plus and regular sizes is Gwynnie Bee. I'm currently an 18/20, so I hopefully won't be in plus sizes for long, and I know there will be a period I can wear both plus sized and regular sizes. Has anyone here any experience with clothing rental sites? Anyone know of any that carry both plus and regular sizes? TIA! abefroman329 704 Posted February 8, 2018 Rent the Runway is the only other one I’m aware of, and based on what I’ve seen of their clothing, it’s a bit of a stretch to say it’s appropriate for an office. Buying is really your only option. K&G has inexpensive professional attire, and there’s always the ol’ Goodwill.
sillykitty 10,780 Posted February 8, 2018 Thanks Abe! Yeah, Rent the Runway has an interesting interpretation of work attire, so many sequins, lol! But there are some decent options thee. A site to keep in mind.
