SkyJade 36 Posted February 6, 2018 So, I don’t know if this has happened to anyone else. All of my life I have been an emotional eater hence why I am over weight, but since I started the process of getting the gastric sleeve my eating has changed. My surgery is scheduled for the 12 of February, and I am in college pursuing my nursing degree. I am stressed out all the time, so I am not eating and when I try to eat I feel sick. I have done a complete 180. I don’t know what to do I have lost 2 pounds in the last three days, and I’m worried it might get worse. Any advice? Don’t tell me to stop stressing that’s not going to happen
Newme17 3,444 Posted February 6, 2018 There's a source behind your eating or lack of. Try to identify it and you can beat both of these awful habits. It may take a while though, as it took me months to realize mine, unless you already know the culprit. Be mindful of this 180 you just did, because after surgery, many tend to shift from one thing to another, in the form of addictions. And I know you didn't want to hear it, but your stress level is contributing to it as well. I think you've identified one..stress.

Vmaldonado84 0 Posted March 19, 2018 I just finished my Rn program and had my surgery while I was in my 7th quarter out of 8 and did my surgery on a Thursday and was back in clinical on Monday! I was a stress eater from school exams teachers life clinical and ATI. I replaced my eating with exercise and studying you have to not let yourself! Eat on a routine and get your body use to your routine so there are no in betweens!
