Recommended Posts

SOOOOO its been about almost 5 months since i had surgery.. the first 3 months i was doing amazing eating right excersing right and then BOOM some of my old cravings has reappeared and honestly im so disappointed in myself but yet so proud i went from 439 to 372 pound in this time frame ... I eat whatever i want but no fried food or any junk not even soda . I had whole wheat Pasta and brown rice of course pouch size .. I wonder if there is some kind of MIND RESET.. I dont know what happend. The weight is still coming off but not as fast as i would like .. Started thinking about getting the other half done but is it to early on to be thinking like this.. ? I have been doing this walk alone and sometimes it gets me down .. I wish i had a supportive family or something of the sort. But Please no judgement i give myself it enough just looking for some advice :)

No magical reset, but your progress is not bad. It slows down quite a bit after the first month of two. What worked for me as I get the cravings is talking about it and sticking to a habit with what I eat. Ohh and always eat your Protein first.

Hi, I’m 18 months post sleeve. I use to feel like I had to eat every two or three hours, I would sit there and think about food all the time. Eyes always have been big for my stomach. But then I went out one day without Breakfast and didn’t eat or feel the need to eat till afternoon. This made me realise that it was just head cravings and not hunger at all I was feeling. So now I try to stay active in mornings and afternoons ( even if it is cooking or housework) to avoid eating out of boredom and try to recognise the difference between that and real hunger. I’m getting better at it now. All the best to you [emoji4]
