frust8 963 Posted March 3, 2018 How are you doing Kimmie40351 with your journey through bureaucracy and Kentucky Medicare? Don't get frustrated, a lot of us have had to fight with our State and Provincial goverments, haven't heard of any b of them known for their reasonableness. Hang in there Honey and every little thing will work out right.Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

I’m in Louisville and one of the major reasons I was trying for wls was to end the waking multiple nights per week from 1-3 am puking from reflux. I assumed it was weight related (as did my pcp). Fortunately, my surgeon (Dr Ben Tanner at Nortons) decided to check into it a little more and determined it was due to gastroparesis (I don’t digest food at the same rate of a normal body). It influenced his choice of surgery. I’m very very happy with the extra care he took to check on that and with the RNY I subsequently had (no more reflux for me)! I know that’s a little off topic, but seeing as how you’re in KY I thought I’d share. Also, the 6 mo goes by quicker than you’d think!
