Anthony Pamaran 17 Posted February 4, 2018 My surgery was back on the 30th and with everyday that passes things have gotten easier. Today is my first roadblock. I woke up and have no energy. I mean I could barely get out of bed. I started my Protein Shakes yesterday. Im sure I will get some energy soon. I know my body is still getting used to the surgery. Is anyone having or had the same issue and what did u do? Thanks Sent from my SM-N920P using BariatricPal mobile app 1 Cowgirl12 reacted to this

ChaosUnlimited 559 Posted February 4, 2018 It's normal to have low energy the first few weeks after surgery because your body is healing and you are only getting a small amount of carbs and calories. I remember having to rest frequently for the first few weeks. Listen to your body, you will start to have more energy when you get to a point that you can take in more for hydration and fuel. You will feel a little better every day. However, if you have other symptoms with it, like running a fever, or getting sweaty and shaky, call your doc asap. 2 Cowgirl12 and FluffyChix reacted to this

Danny Paul 761 Posted February 4, 2018 Being tired is normal for the first few weeks. Your body is healing and you're getting fewer nutrients. It should pass. 1 Anthony Pamaran reacted to this
