Steroids UGH!

Ok so I was sleeved 1/23/17 and had a very rough recovery. Well in December things got bad again and I was put back on steroids. I have Lupus. Here. are. my statistics and then later I will tell you my dilemma.

HW:220lbs

SW: 202lbs

CW:140lbs

GW:120lbs.

Right before the steroids had gotten all the way down to 125lbs. Now I weigh 140. I'm always hungry, can eat bigger portions now. try my best to stay on. a healthy diet but my body craves all the bad food. What do I do. My face has gotten a little fatter with visible double chin and my stomach has gotten big again. what can I do?

Krista honey,i feel for you-with lupus you're caught between a rock and a hard place, My PCP just loves to prescribe steroids, told him once they should be called steer-roids because I'm getting as fat as a market steer and he's a contributory factor in my porkie-osity. I. [emoji307] you,with a double chin anyway,but,know that's not why you embarked,on,a weight,loss journey

Krista...Lupus sucks. I'm so sorry you have to deal with this illness and side effects of treatment.

i have been having excruciating bouts of gout since being sleeved on jan 26 2018. i take 20mg prednisone. I am curious about what dosage you are on?
