I saw that some people can eat one lean meal but mine is all liquids. Basically, the only things I can eat are Soup with no meat, Ensure or Boost shakes, juice and pudding. 1 ready4change88 reacted to this

ready4change88 40 Posted March 4, 2018 My surgery was the 27th too! I must admit, I failed the presurgery diet completely. Hope everyone’s big day went well! [emoji4][emoji1319] My surgery went well they wanted me to do 2 weeks liquid diet as well but on a few occasions I had a boiled egg it was Protein and I was starving with a hunger headache but I’m 4 days out and I’ve been doing ok, I’m down 8 pounds since surgery and I was suppose to start back on my Protein Shakes yesterday but it didn’t work out so I’m back to Water and I had a few scoops of Greek yogurt
sarhgrif 127 Posted March 4, 2018 Had my surgery on the 27th, still having some right side incision pain, other than that doing really well. How’s everyone else doing?Hw-378Sw- 363 (2/27/18) 2 ready4change88 and FluffyChix reacted to this
Deevanh11 21 Posted March 4, 2018 Hi is there anybody else with the same surgery date as me or anywhere close? I’m excited and nervous all at the same time. Also I’m not looking forward to this liquid diet at allMy surgery was 2/26. I’m doing good - just today I’m introducing Protein Shake in small sips. I’m still in chicken broth, sf Jello, Water. I am healing great but fatigued. My post op class is Tuesday when we get to have some cottage cheese and cooked veggies and learn how to chew and portion. I’m at that soft food phase for 3 months. I’m excited about everything- maybe I’m one of the lucky ones I wish everyone was. ladydeenj 132 Posted March 4, 2018 This is my second sleeve surgery , I had surgery feb 27th down 11 lbs feeling real tired, irritated and can only tolerate ice pops and Water chicken broth is making me nauseas which is weird because I love Soups and make and have them often. I’m having a weird pain I’m trying to believe that it’s the gas pain but it doesn’t feel like that it is directly in my stomach. Looking forward to seeing my doctor on Monday for my first postop appointment

I'm trying to increase my liquids but it's hard. Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app 1 logicwand reacted to this

Also liquid Tylenol has been helpful. I'm sure these pains are totally normal. Recovery sucks but it will be so worth it in a month best of luck! 3 1 ready4change88, logicwand, DiscoLadyFever and 1 other reacted to this

I haven’t tried my Protein Shakes again since they made me vomit the other day but I did purchase the Protein water today so I’ll see how that goes
