Upper back pain 6 months post op

Hello!

I am almost 6 months post-op and am having regular pain in my upper back and sometimes stomach, just over-tightness like I worked out too hard, or stood around too much. I stopped working out as much but the pain has continued, but I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

If you still have your gallbladder, it might be worth getting an ultrasound to check for stones.

I had this a couple days after surgery. I am 5 days out and have not felt it again. I assumed it was from lying in a bad position or something. The nurses told me it was trapped air in the body.

Back pain in the upper right quadrant is associated with gallbladder disease. If you still have your gallbladder you may want to get it checked out.

No gall bladder here either. They ripped it out 30 years ago. Besides, my pain was on the upper left. But thank you for the info! This is important for all to know! I did not know that fact.
