vinesqueen 2 Posted February 20, 2005 I have surprised myself at how much I am looking forward to this weekend in Vegas. I've long had a fear of crowds and a walking into a room where I don't know anybody is welll... not something I generally want to contemplate on a social setting. But I feel like I've gotten to know so many of you, I don't think I'll freak out too badly...
DeLarla 22 Posted February 20, 2005 Teresa, sorry but my spare room as already been spoken for. Sorry!
Penni60 45 Posted February 20, 2005 Megan: Making out? ???? What is that??? Hmmm might have to look up the new slang terms. LOL!! Way cool. And yes we could do some damage. And yes again "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas." LOL!! Ya know I don't really care where we stay (NO HO JO!!!) as long as there is taxi service to and from Lisa's because I ain't driving if I am drinking. AND I am drinking!! Gonna be celebrating my birthday (which is the 5th, presents accepted) and will be in a size 14 by then for sure. I am hoping anyway. I wouldn't mind staying at Excalibur, Mandalay Bay, Luxor, NewYork, Paris, Venetian, Harrah's, Strastosphere is ok too but someone's gotta go on the rides with me at the top. WHOO HOO!! Vegas here I come.
princess_n_thep 2 Posted February 20, 2005 Just a thought too..... checked a bit more.... Stratosphere is $107 a night, Imperial Palace is $98 a night, Circus Circus is $85 a night and Sahara is $89 a night. Being that this all has the propensity to get somewhat large of a group, the group rates will probably be even lower. The newer hotels are fairly expensive but the older more established hotels on the strip are just as nice, just not as themed or showy. I have stayed at all of the above and like them all (sahara and riviera being top choices, and circus circus being the bottom). Do you have any thoughts or input in this De Larla??? I drive and play and stay there all the time and send people there all the time, but you live there (so you get the inside scoop ha ha ha). Surely you have a better opinion about all of these places I have mentioned than I would? If I am invited, my vote is for either weekend. I am driving. And just as a side note..... why not plan a quickie cruise down to mexico? Only about $300 pp for 4 nights and everything is included! (can you tell I love to travel and jump at ANY and ALL chances to leave and have fun!!!) Jen

vinesqueen 2 Posted February 20, 2005 Penni, I will go on any ride with you, as long as it doesn't involve being hung upside down. For some reason, I cannot breathe upside down. OH!!!! and if I reach my that goal, I won't feel squished into the seat! I'm with you on the whole taxi thing too!
Guest exercisemaniac Posted February 21, 2005 Bring on the black jack! A cruise has a casino too!
La_madam 20 Posted February 21, 2005 Have we decided on a date yet for sure? I would like to book my room ASAP..where is everyone staying?
lapbander081004 7 Posted February 21, 2005 Becky say "I do rides -- and I go upside down too. I never have anyone who will do that with me." Greg is back anmd he says "I'm not going there"
DeLarla 22 Posted February 21, 2005 Penni, have you kept track of the votes? Is everyone willing and ready to set a date in stone? EVERYONE is invited... but, last year I learned my lesson so this year I'm not making any suggestions or recommendations on hotels! I didn't pick Howard Johnson's last year, but all the girls puked when they saw the rooms. Well, not all of them, and they really didn't puke, but a bunch of girls were running around at the last second looking for other hotels. I think any of the ones on the Strip will be fine though. Since Penni is in control of my life, I nominate her to make the decision on the date.
Penni60 45 Posted February 21, 2005 OK here goes. September 9, 10, and 11 weekend in Vegas for the BASH is set in stone. Plan accordingly. I will be there with bells on. I can stay at any hotel on the strip preferably but I am flexible. I think Excalibur sounds like fun but so do any of the hotels. I might fly in so would need a ride. LISA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Zoe 6 Posted February 21, 2005 If there's any way I can be there, I will. Maybe I can work in a Grand Canyon Colorado River trip if my butt is small enough to fit in a kayak by then!
La_madam 20 Posted February 23, 2005 I will be there with Bells on too!! Anyone wanting to share a room with me..let me know I will be fyling in too
cadydid 0 Posted February 23, 2005 You are more than welcome to share a room with Vera, Becky and myself. We would love to have you and that would lower the cost even more. Let us know.
DeLarla 22 Posted February 23, 2005 I think Penni is confused with Band Bash and Birthday Bash. Penni, this is a Band Bash, but since you keep reminding us of your birthday, I'll be sure to have many cans of whip cream in the fridge - you know, the kind that sprays in your face? You want a birthday spanking? You got it! Payback's a bitch, ain't it? Oh boy, this is gonna be fun! And I think everyone else will agree that you should be the first to get tossed in the pool drunk in your panties this year!
