Kr1ckit 0 Posted January 26, 2018 Has anyone used isogenix, advocare after gastric sleeve surgery? I have used these products in the past and am familiar with them. I am scheduled for surgery on Feb. 21. Any info on this would be welcomed. Thx!
Creekimp13 5,840 Posted January 26, 2018 (edited) They both have more sugar and calories than you need. Try to keep calories under 200 per shake. I was told to try to get whey based shakes. Premiere Protein gives you 30g of protein for 160 calories. It's my favorite now. The caramel flavor is extremely good in coffee...tastes like a latte:) Edited January 26, 2018 by Creekimp13
Claudiarb 21 Posted January 26, 2018 I don’t like the premade stuff, I use Isopure zero carb Protein Powder in chocolate, 1 scoop, 1 cup 1% milk, 2 tbsp Greek plain yogurt and two small slices of banana, blend it and it’s so delicious! The first two weeks I made 2 scoops with Water and nothing else , it was still good but not as tasty or thick as the one with milk and yogurt.
KMO1961 3 Posted January 26, 2018 My dr. recommended Muscle Milk, Premier Protein, Isopure, Designers Whey Cytosport, etc. I've been drinking either Muscle Mile or Premier Protein. Trying to get 60 grams of protein/day
AGreenEyedWolf 97 Posted January 27, 2018 I love Premier Protein chocolate. Can't stand any other flavors or brands.Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BariatricPal mobile app
sara_bear 8 Posted January 27, 2018 My nutritionist recommended the Premier Protein and muscle milk, both of which have sucralose that gives me a terrible reaction. I’m trying out Vega One right now, the stevia is sitting with me a lot better. I’m planning to ask my NUT next visit if this is okay. It’s not whey Protein but I haven’t found anything with that I can handle.
