That's awesome, they do sound very good! Wish there were samples I could by in my town

Here ya go! Bariatric Pal sells the individual serving sizes for you to buy and try. Here's the link: https://store.bariatricpal.com/products/syntrax-nectar-protein-powder-trial-sizes-17-flavors-to-choose-from?nosto=other-nosto-2

Also, you can go to Syntrax and purchase a sample of 17 different ones. But honestly? Some were HORRIBLE and I found the chocolatey and dessert ones just too sweet. I do like the ones I listed out of the 17 though. :D I think they coffee or mocha one was good too. I made iced coffee with it and diluted it, but prefer Premier Protein for my iced coffees now.

Thanks I was looking at them and by looking at them, I mean I put allllll the fruit flavored ones in my cart lol. Then saw that it was over 30 just to ship them

I'm deciding between those and... https://www.supplementscanada.com/revolution_nutrition_candy_flavour_whey_isolate.html

so hard to decide!!!

I got the bundle of sample packs off of Amazon - so maybe look there. It includes more flavors than just the fruit ones but I like being able to try all of them. I really liked most of the flavors, especially the fruit or tea ones for a change of pace. I also liked that they mixed very well with plain Water in a shaker bottle and tasted fine at room temperature. I have other Protein Powder that tastes gross in water (so I use milk) and/or need to be ice cold to taste good. I can easily toss these in my purse or suitcase when I'm traveling or just out and about and not have to worry about finding ice or milk to mix them with. I'd say they are worth a try :)

I ended up going to a supplement store today and they had a sample station, so I was able to try a couple flavors that they had available. I tried the fuzzy navel, carribean cooler (gross) and strawberry kiwi (gross) haha.

I also tried the revolution nutrition candy flavors they had 2 of 4 to sample... so i tried Gummy bear and red raspberry. They were sweeter so I added more Water to both, and they were honestly both very good. They normally had peach to sample but they were completely sold out.

I ended up getting the Syntrax Nectar in fuzzy navel and revolution nutrition in gummy bear. I also tried a Protein pancake mix... and smart sweets protein gummy bears.

I am dying to try a few more flavors of the Syntrax, but cant find any place in canada to get the sample packets. I would have to drive 2 hours to go pick up the packets in the US. :( I really wanted to try the ice tea, lemonade, cherry, grapefruit, apple, crystal sky, strawberry, and grape.

I got the Syntrax Nectar (15 singles as a variety pack) after reading views here - ew, they were nasty!! Somehow I just don’t like my crisp apple or my lemon drink with a back flavour of milk!

Man, postage to New Zealand was a killer too!

I DO love the bariatricpal Soups though...

I've only liked one out of 3 that I've tried so far.. but very interested to try the rest, but I would definitely just use Water I think? I went to order them from here again, then it said 50.12US just for shipping to Canada hahah that's crazy!! I found a place in canada, but they dont have grape to try (really wanted that one) and I'm waiting for one more quote from somewhere else, fingers crossed I can get them! I'm closer! just really wanted grape too!

I love the Syntrax and I'm a pickup drinker. I love the Roadside Lemonade. As well as the caramel Cappuccino. I sometimes make a hot or cold coffee. I also order the variety pack from Amazon. It's about $37. My nutritionist gave me a number to order from where it's only about $15. I can't find the number. I'll call her Monday and post it.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
