Krista27 341 Posted January 25, 2018 Okay so this is probably a dumb question but I don't care. My hair needs to be done. And by that I mean cut & foiled. I was wanting to wait and do it after surgery. But I worry about the Hair loss. Should quick get it done before my surgery or is it better to wait and do it after? Creekimp13 5,840 Posted January 26, 2018 Doesnt' matter. Most Hair loss starts 2-3 months after surgery. (I'm told...mine hasn't been bad yet) 1 brightfaith reacted to this
XYZXYZXYZ1955 675 Posted January 26, 2018 My hair has thinned quite a bit. I'm not crazy about it, but everything I read says it will come back, so I'm hanging tough. I did color it about a month ago, for whatever that's worth.
kitavonkanada 9 Posted January 26, 2018 Hey girls! I'm 10 years out, BUT....I dyed my hair the entire way through. I'm now a bottle blonde and it hasn't made much difference. My hair texture and fullness changed after surgery -- even when it did grow back. But I think whatever makes you feel great about you during this transtion is totally worth it!! I made a YouTube video about it Check it out if you feel like it Otherwise, good luck! 2 GreenTealael and Gran7 reacted to this
MrsGamgee 756 Posted February 1, 2018 I've gone through periods of thinning hair in the past (postpartum, different meds, etc) and while it always comes back, it is a frustration. I have found, given my skin and hair pigmentation, colouring my hair actually makes it look fuller/thicker and it makes me feel better about how I look. Just my two cents... 2 Jessica S. and marylandchick reacted to this
