blackrosevamp 78 Posted January 25, 2018 I was in group session at my bariatric surgeons office and one of the fellow rny bypassers stated she can feel her remnant stomach...can even burp it. I've never even thought about my other stomach thats floating around still. It kinda blew my mind. So i was wondering if anyone else feels it. 1 alligus reacted to this

Sadiebug 206 Posted January 25, 2018 Not that I'm aware of - I haven't really ever thought about it.
Creekimp13 5,840 Posted January 25, 2018 Given that it's not hooked to your upper GI anymore...how in the hell can she "burp" it? I once knew a person who was utterly convinced that her cats were mating with rabbits and that she was raising hybrid cat/rabbits in her barn. dathvick 150 Posted January 25, 2018 sometimes when I roll over on my left side while sleeping I think I can feel it, It feels like a lump. I have lost a lot of weight in my stomach so I don't have a lot of fat anymore to hide it.
Myaiku_Kuraitani 245 Posted January 25, 2018 Nope. Haven't really given that remnant stomach any thought... Til now. In the back of my mind, I know it's there but it's like I forget about it. It's just an organ that isn't really doing much that's just floating about in there... I dunno. LolHw-273Sw-226CW-140GW-130Size- 4 or 6, Small in sweats. RNY-Fall-2017 161 Posted January 26, 2018 (edited) Nope, can’t feel mine. Never heard of such a thing either. My surg was 10/2017 & lost 50 lbs so far & most of it was prob in my abdominal area, so by now I would have felt it if we’re possible. I think this person is simply just incorrect thinking they can feel it. Edited January 26, 2018 by RNY-Fall-2017
