worst headache ever

has anyone else had such a bad headache day 2 in hospital and if so what helped get rid of it . narcotic meds seem to be making it worse

I'm pre op but starting to get head aches as well. for me, it's lots of fluids and an ice pack to my head and neck that seem to work.

Could it be the pain meds giving you the headache. I would mention it to your nurse and see what she says. They can give you something else for the other pains as well as the headache.

I'm sorry, I just saw how old this post was. Hope you figured it out.....
