korii 2 Posted January 24, 2018 I had my surgery the 9th so two weeks ago and I feel like I am doing horrible. I am not eating three times a day I can only drink two Protein Shakes not three and I’m not even close to 64 oz of Water. I’m trying really hard to increase everything it’s just I feel full fast . Is this normal ? Should I be worried?No worries! Perfectly normal. I’m 3 months post op and still can’t drink 64 oz. can’t and shouldn’t force food and Water into you. Claudiarb 21 Posted January 24, 2018 Totally normal, at two weeks I was barely getting 24 oz of liquid in and that was counting the morning shake. Roadrunner 1 10 Posted January 24, 2018 Hi, You are doing great actually. Try not to sweat it. Almost 6 mo's post op, here. It will gradually change as far as your tolerance goes. You are still healing and it is normal. As you continue to heal ensure you keep track of your intake, especially Water. Fiber may be a good idea if your docs didnt mention it yet. 64 is just suggested at the start, they know you'll increase as healing allows. Hope that helps.
