Joyful4 3 Posted January 21, 2018 (edited) Hi, I’m new. Just had my surgery and was approved for phase 2. I’ve lost a total of 15lbs so far. But I’m still sore and it’s hard for me to exercise. My question is, does anyone else have problems sleeping? My legs get so restless I am literally up all night tossing, turning and stretching. Is it just me or is all this Protein have something to do with it? Edited January 21, 2018 by Joyful4
nomorefattypatty 329 Posted January 21, 2018 I've been the same way but my restless leg syndrome seems to have gotten worse. My family physician put me on baclofen before surgery for rls and it's very effective. My psychiatrist is very diligent and this medicine doesn't interfere with my other medications. Good job on your weight loss! It only gets better in time. I am just 6 months out .My HW 238 4' 11"MY SW 209CW 147, I'm extremely happy with the results and wish I would of had my surgery 6 years ago, I let my mom talk me out of it 6 years ago. I could never imagine it would have felt this good to NOT walk around with so much weight on me. Sent from my N9560 using BariatricPal mobile app
Sosewsue61 3,185 Posted January 21, 2018 I am prone to severe leg cramps, and sometimes have rls along with them. I take Triple Calm magnesium and it helps so much with the leg cramps. I do have to make sure I get enough sleep and extra fluids, as both those issues make leg cramps more likely.
