sleevedin2018 41 Posted January 18, 2018 Well tomorrow’s the big day. After a four week pre-op I have to be at the hospital at 9:00 & surgery at 10:30. A little nervous but ready! You will ace it! I was an anxious wreck and they gave me a huge fast acting shot of midazolam that calmed me right down. Just let them know you’re nervous, they’ll take care of you. I’m out the other side and can assure you it’ll be just fine! Good luck ! 1 Seahawks Fan reacted to this

This is my second attempt my nerves got the best of me on May 30, 2017. I was already in the hospital with an IV in my arm and ended up going home.

Just remember all the reasons why you’ve opted to do the surgery and everything you stand to gain by doing it. You’ve got this! I feel great except for right below the middle of my rib cage. Should be walking in an hour or two. 1 KryCar reacted to this
vsgtate2018 0 Posted January 22, 2018 4 days post op and feeling pretty good. Is it normal to still have pain in largest incension on the left side of my belly. I have followed my doctors orders and stayed on meds that were prescribed. I am not sure if meds will last until my pain stops. Anyone else experienced this? Thank You. It'''s fairly normal only 4 days out. I had sporadic incision pain for weeks, though after the first week didn't need pain killers. If you need more talk to the DR, though in many cases you go from regular use to not needing them almost overnight so you might be ok.
