Little Green 583 Posted January 26, 2018 @RunningLibrarian what's a starch-free diet? Just like a no-carb thing - no wheat, rice, potatoes, etc.?

Yeah.. only carbs from veggies and fruit.. No bread, (or breaded stuff), corn, potatoes, rice, peas.... that sort of thing. It's to shrink the liver so its easier for the doctor to lift to get at the stomach for the surgery. 1 FluffyChix reacted to this

I gradually stepped down, then quit the caffeine when I first started with the program... I didn't want to go thru that and surgery stuff at the same time.
