BB87 6 Posted January 13, 2018 Is there anything I can put on these incisions to make them itch less? I’m thinking not... but hoping someone has dealt with this and can help! Thanks!
dennise68 7 Posted January 13, 2018 Hemroid cream should work. I was told to put some on a spoon and heat it over stove burner just to melt it and if not hot put some on a warm washcloth and gently rub it in itchy part. Omg, it felt so darn good. Someone told me this when I have hysterectomy surgery and it works. 1 BB87 reacted to this
sleeved2win 79 Posted January 14, 2018 Ha mine are crazy itchy too!! Just means they are healing. I lightly scratch AROUND the incisions, NOT touching the glue, and if that doesn't work I try to distract myself. It's annoying but most of mine look almost entirely healed now and I only have about 2/3 of the glue left. The rest already peeled off naturally. 1 BB87 reacted to this
GiantRN 8 Posted January 14, 2018 Mine are all crazy itchy too. It just means they are healing. I have never heard the hemorrhoid cream thing, you might check with your surgeon before putting anything on them. They shaved my belly so my incisions have new hairs sprouting out of them, ugh! 1 BB87 reacted to this
