Sonotech 3 Posted January 12, 2018 Thanks, you should see a gastroenterologist, they were the ones to figure it out. If it is sphincter of oddi it won't get better only worse. They also said it usually happens after gallbladder is removed and it usually doesn't happen that quickly. Bloodwork becomes elevated also. My liver enzymes were doubling after each attack and bilirubin was elevated. Keep us posted and hope you feel better soon.Sent from my VS987 using BariatricPal mobile app

I'll just be glad when I'm not feeling sick every day. I know everyone said the first year is the hardest but i am literally approaching my year mark next week and sometimes it seems the symptoms are getting worse instead of better which is what got me to wondering if it was the gall bladder. My doctor did not check my gallbladder prior to surgery as I had no issues with it at the time but he did warn me that post surgery is was a very large possibility that it would need to come out. My pain in intermittent for sure but I'm ready to just get it out and move on. I'm tired of having surgery at this point.
