CarlyRose 6 Posted January 8, 2018 I had my surgery 12-26-17 and I’m just kind of feeling alone. Any December peeps need a buddy?
Creekimp13 5,840 Posted January 8, 2018 It's hormones. Lot of folks struggle with mood swings in the weeks after surgery. You're gonna be ok. It gets better. I'm always open to new buddies. I hope you feel better soon. This coming year you're gonna lose a lot of weight and your world will change for the better. You'll feel better. Give it some time. 2 ProudGrammy and Aworknprogress reacted to this
mamamc32 132 Posted January 9, 2018 I agree with the above. It's very normal to feel a little down at that stage after surgery. You've made some HUGE changes to your diet, and your body is going a little crazy. Hang in there - as you start to lose more weight and adjust to the changes, you'll start feeling better!! It's temporary.
NewbieLife19 6 Posted January 9, 2018 Hi! I was sleeved 12-19. We can be buddies! I also felt a bit blue right after surgery; all the changes right before the holiday was a bit much but I survived. I am feeling better now so I can tell you to hang in there. I too have my ups and down so I need to tell myself to hang in there as well. 😬
It’s All About E 18 Posted February 3, 2018 I had sleeve on 12/5. I am feeling totally irritable lately-getting spastic over the smalkest things and I don’t like it!!!! Help! Let’s be buddies.
kakatlady612 1,053 Posted February 3, 2018 Remember your fat cells are releasing all kinds of goodies including hormones into your bloodstream. Remember how you cried when you were a teenager and thought no one understood you and everyone was mean? Welcome to your 2nd puberty. Things are gonna level out but it will take time. It’s All About E 18 Posted February 3, 2018 Thank you. I’m 47. I thought peri-menopause was bad. I’m getting my period now (was irregular before). The irritability is awful, though, as it affects my 6 year old & I feel like I can’t control it. Ugh! Hope it ends soon. 1 kakatlady612 reacted to this
hightchmom 0 Posted February 3, 2018 My date was 12/5/17 and I’m starting to have mood swings as well. No real bad but out of nowhere. I’ve been on anxiety medicine but still seems to get irritable for no reason
