What brand and where?

The lowest calorie ones, I think, are the Popsicle brand, sugar free at 15 calories each. They are available just about anywhere. I suppose you could also make your own with Crystal Light or something similar.

Sorry to be a Mommy nag. But you want to stay away from sugar and sweet things (even with fake sugar or “fruit” - it’s sugar!). If you are craving cold, try (don’t laugh, it works if you don’t eat sugar and fruit) buying or making snow cone ice and drenching it in coconut Water and splashing coconut or dairy heavy cream on the top. No sugar (coco water is kinda sweet) but fatty and cold and yummy.

Getting off sugars and fake sugars I think will be key to keeping weight off. It changes the gut bugs in us and thus eliminates the cravings for sweets. Just an idea. I eat plenty of fat every day, but healthy fat, over 50% of my calories daily, and steadily lose weight. Fat doesn’t make you fat or crave sugar. Sugar and fake sugar do.

When your on clears I don’t think Creamer is an option, but that could just be with my dr.

My doctor said I could eat a whole box a day if I wanted to. (I don't of course). But it is a good way to get Fluid in after surgery.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.
