sierragirl 0 Posted January 6, 2018 I had surgery 11/13/2017 and in the first 6 weeks lost 40lbs. I’ve also been “stalled” for the past two weeks on the scale, but I’m still seeing a dramatic difference in how my clothes fit...so I know I’m still making progress and my body is just adjusting. Therefore, I still have a smile on my face! I tried on a pair of old jeans pre-surgery. At that time, I could not get them buttoned and zipped. About every week or so I try on that same pair of jeans to see how they are fitting...while they are still a little tight, i can get them buttoned and zipped, and I see a difference every time I try them on — even if the scale doesn’t show it. That’s what keeps me going!
AZLoser 103 Posted January 6, 2018 Yes it's very normal to stall along the way, as frustrating as that is. Your body is just catching up. Hang in there and you'll start losing again.
