mel1214 14 Posted January 3, 2018 Does anyone else ever feel like you just can’t get enough Water in? I’m 2 1/2 months post op RNY and definitely getting in at least 64 oz of water every day, but some days I feel like I could chug water all day long and it still wouldn’t be enough. I struggle to get Protein in on those days because I’m drinking so much, which I know isn’t good.
Creekimp13 5,840 Posted January 3, 2018 To be on the safe side, mention this to your doc.
mel1214 14 Posted January 3, 2018 I have and he’s not concerned. I’ve had some issues with my kidneys and low potassium since surgery and he checks blood work every week just to be safe. All of my labs are normal and he seems to think it’s just because I drank so much more Water before surgery.
Creekimp13 5,840 Posted January 3, 2018 Glad to hear you're keeping track of your kidneys and keeping your doc in the loop. Kidney function was my concern. Am relieved to hear the tests look good:) Maybe your spirit animal is a sponge. LOL:)
