prettysfitjourney 24 Posted January 2, 2018 How soon after your WLS did you have an Abdominalplasty or panniculectomy? I had my surgery September 19th , 2017 and have my Panniculectomy consult Friday January 5th, 2018.
axlr8n 161 Posted January 2, 2018 2 years for me... I've heard you should wait for a year after your weight has stabilized. That is unless you're planning to have multiple surgeries throughout your weight lots journey to help with mobility, etc. 1 finding.me_rny reacted to this

Kat0000 124 Posted March 13, 2018 My surgeon requires 3 months of stabilized weight not years. Dang I am too old to wait yrs. Lol. If my ins wont cover it I will head to Bariatricpal MX. I am planning a head. I am having WLS in a few months. Need to lose 70 lbs. Good luck
Alyssa_T 30 Posted March 17, 2018 In my case, 1 year after WLS. I was 3 months at goal weight.
Kahkeetsee 64 Posted March 26, 2018 I had a TT and plication....he was also kind to lift a bit of my mons so that it was more fitting. I waited 5 years and saved up...very glad i did.. Is lifting the mons a usually separate surgery? I'm still pre-sleeve surgery, but for the last few years, my mons has become like a softball and hangs too. I have to be careful with shorts and it looks like I have a big "package", not fun for a female. Sent from my SM-J700T using BariatricPal mobile app
