New4me2 3 Posted December 31, 2017 Hi I’m new to the forum, my surgery is on January 11th, I’m on my 3rd day of the pre op diet, it’s actually not that hard for me I’m very pleased with that. But I’m feeling very nervous I know it’s just because it’s coming up fast, was anyone else a bundle of nerves at this point I guess I’m just needing some encouraging words. march1 9 Posted December 31, 2017 Hi I’m new to the forum, my surgery is on January 11th, I’m on my 3rd day of the pre op diet, it’s actually not that hard for me I’m very pleased with that. Hello,I just my Sleeve done 2 days ago and the surgery was easy, your put under and it’s done. I did have very painful lungs (from the gas) after the surgery but my stomach / abdomen didn’t hurt AT ALL. 48 hours later, my chest feels very close to normal and my abdomen is a bit sore. The pain meds really help and walking, as everyone says, is essential. I just finished my first Protein Shake which got easier over the day and Water was painful for 24 hours but is now going down easily. You will be fine. Don’t project to far into the future. Take it an hour at a time and it will all work out just fine. I’m excited now for a nice slow journey. Good luck.
