Me too - I had my band removed and an RNY on 14 December. Keen to form a group - I am doing really well, but I don’t seem to be ‘reading’ my ne tummy well yet - wondered if 10 years with the band contributes to that...

I'm having the same trouble. I think it is due to the band. I don't have a full feeling at all, but I'm still on liquids. I wonder what it is going to be like when I go to soft foods.

I am 16 days post op. On soft foods for the last week or so. I can’t tell if I am full - sticking to the guidelines for how much to eat (2-3 tablespoons yoghurt or cottage cheese) but don’t feel full, regurgitate. I have just in the last two days noticed that if I eat too fast I get sudden fatigue, think ‘maybe I might be sick’ and a bit clammy - passes after 15 mins. Mild dumping - has been a good incentive to slow down!

Not feeling full bothers me - temptation to eat more until I do. Never been much good with resisting temptation! But am resisting this - my tummy is still healing, I keep telling myself. Treat it gently!

Thank you for letting us know. The sad thing is, I used to depend on a full feeling to let me know when to stop...ugh. I guess I know now that I may not be able to depend upon that. I will have to measure everything, because I do not want to risk more issues in the future with eating too much, especially with new gift with having this surgery. No many people get a second weight loss surgery.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
