Jbugsmom 0 Posted December 25, 2017 Hi everyone I’m 5 years out from my RNY , over the last few months I’m experiencing nausea every time I eat, a lot of gas and pain in my abdomen. I have an appointment on January 12 with a surgeon. I’m so nervous any ideas on what might be going on

catwoman7 11,221 Posted December 28, 2017 might be an ulcer - which I believe are usually (maybe always?) caused by H pylori. So the above poster may be on to something. I had something similar a few months ago. Not nausea, but some gas/indigestion and dull pain under my rib cage after I ate or drank coffee. My PCP ran a bunch of blood tests and poked around to rule out liver, gallbladder, and pancreas issues. After all that looked normal, she said it was most likely an ulcer.
