VSGnewguy 164 Posted December 21, 2017 I've been watching a LOT of YouTube videos from people who have had the VSG surgery as well as bariatric surgeons. It's cool to watch and see people's transformation over a period of months. Right now I'm especially interested in the videos from people who post their experiences during their surgery and first week post op, since I'll be having VSG on Jan. 11th. Just curious, what are some of your favorite YouTube VSG channels? I've learned a lot from a couple of the bariatric surgeons channels - one is Dr. Mathew Weiner and the other is Blossom Bariatrics from Las Vegas; their dietician has some really good videos. 4 lvidacovich, Losingit2018, Alex Brecher and 1 other reacted to this
Kate D 41 Posted December 21, 2017 Clusie is my favorite. She’s hilarious and honest about Bariatric surgery 11 Simply_Sleeved, KCgirl061, ALFxRNY and 8 others reacted to this
etc. etc. etc. 440 Posted December 21, 2017 Clusie is great. Saved by a Sleeve doesn't have that level of polish and isn't a natural entertainer like that, but he's a regular guy who is very honest and frank and usually checks in regularly. There aren't nearly the number of male VSGers on YT as female, so that makes him worth seeing. https://www.youtube.com/savedbyasleeve 4 Jessicamurray, sunshinetinks, nina0891 and 1 other reacted to this

AZLoser 103 Posted January 12, 2018 My favorite is #AskDrA with Dr Alvarez. He has a series of short clips that answer any possible question you have about vsg. It was a huge help to me when I would wake up in the middle of the night and wonder about something. You can ask him questions and he's on snap chat too. Losebig 508 Posted January 12, 2018 Not really a sleeve channel, but I stumbled on Boogie2988, who is someone who had a bypass. He was pretty honest about the whole process and effects and that was helpful for me when I was first deciding to get surgery. Definitely inspiring to watch others go through the process.
