My highest ever recorded weight was 282.4 lbs in 2010. I'm now 178.6 lbs as of this morning.. so I've officially lost 100 lbs. I can't believe I ever carried that much weight on this body. Now just 24.6 lbs to goal. 🥳🥳🥳CONGRATULATIONS!!🥳🥳🥳 2 GreenTealael and Orchids&Dragons reacted to this

Pick up my dry cleaning ... walk, get my hair done .... walk. I haven't talked myself into walking to grocery shop yet. I'll need to buy one of those little old lady push carts! 🤣 Here is an example of why I’m grateful that walking is pleasurable now days vs something to dread! http://time.com/5563637/black-car-silver-car-standoff/?amp=true Now I don’t have to give up my spot and be forced to enter into an epic battle of wills to claim a new one! 😂😂😂 2 GreenTealael and FluffyChix reacted to this

Orchids&Dragons 9,047 Posted April 4, 2019 This is a very non-specific NSV - but I feel FANTASTIC! All of a sudden, 13 months out, I feel absolutely amazing. I don't want to scare any newbies, I had issues that you are very unlikely to experience. But, I have felt so-so or downright crappy for so long that I had accepted that as my new normal. But now, I have to set the record straight. Boldilocks 312 Posted April 4, 2019 Today I cut my toenails and did not have to hold my breath or physically grab my foot and place it over my knee with my hands. And 3 of the shower curtain hooks had come off the pole, so I hopped up on the side of the bath and put them back on - without holding on to anything for support, and while keeping my balance on the 3 inch bath rim! 3 2 rs, nenes78, DanaC84 and 2 others reacted to this

amandamellor18 37 Posted April 5, 2019 NSVs are amazing - my surgery was 5/31/18, I reached my surgeons goal on Sunday. Down 95lbs and ready to maintain. I bought all new pants In January and they are all too big now. I am now a size 8! Never in my life have I been an 8! I was an 18-20 when I had the surgery. I can feel actual bones under my skin - that’s new. my goal was to be the weight I was when I was married 15 years ago. I am 25lbs past that. I have never felt this good. The best decision I have ever made for myself 3 5 ms.sss, DanaC84, GreenTealael and 5 others reacted to this
libbyleeb 97 Posted April 5, 2019 A few says ago, I rounded the corner to see my bus at the stop about 200 feet away. I ran! Actually ran, long strides, solid heel strikes, and caught it! I didn't even feel too winded afterwards. Only later, did I realize how amazing it was. 6 3 GreenTealael, NYC_PAULA, ProudGrammy and 6 others reacted to this
ms.sss 15,725 Posted April 5, 2019 2 NSV's at my checkup today: 1) my body fat percentage is 31% which puts me in the "acceptable"/"average" range for women. yay! 2) i have a thigh gap (of sorts)! had to take off my clothes and stand with my feet 6-8" apart, and lo and behold light could be seen shining between my legs (ok, that sounded weird). 5 3 2 libbyleeb, Catherine Wible, DanaC84 and 7 others reacted to this

Colchabay 46 Posted April 11, 2019 Had our monthly meeting today and I fit in the student desk with room to spare!! I hated those meetings because the only seats are student desks and I would have to squeeze myself into them and sit uncomfortably through the meeting!
