Non Scale Victories

I had 2 people I hadn't seen in a while today tell me I was looking good and they could see a Weight loss. Now usually my mind goes " Don't I always look good?" but these were 2 people I respect very much, if they can see it, I am gratified. A very small NSV, but I am encouraged to have bigger NSV soon. And I may be doing something good after all and I'm going to keep on toward my target weight.

I've got a couple of necklaces that fit around my neck now that didn't before.

I've lost 15" in 3 weeks since surgery.

I'm down a clothing size already.

My face and neck look thinner.

It just occurred to me that I haven't had to buy new work shoes in years - I used to wear them out about once a year, sometimes less.

I walk longer/faster than everyone I know/meet without trying. I have a new urgency to get places (on foot) because my feet and body no longer hurt when I walk now...

This means so much to me. I didn't even realize it until children were tired of me 😂.
