On the liquid I ate creamed Soups and soft I ate minced meat and refried Beans.

I am still on thick liquids - creamed Soups, yogurt, broth, etc. Mid-week next week starts soft foods. I'm a little bored with my choices at this point! AuDBall 32 Posted December 29, 2017 Glad I saw this thread! Pretty much dealing with what the OP has. I’m mildly nauseous pretty much all day long but don’t vomit. I’m really sensitive to smells. It’s making it hard to eat or drink, but I force myself. All I want to do is sleep so I don’t have to feel this way. Because I’m sleeping so much, I’m not meeting Water or Protein goals. Currently 2.5 weeks post-op. Just trying to cling on to the thought that this feeling is temporary and it’s worth it in the long-run.

I didn't want to that is for sure. But as soon as I got up and kept moving, I started feeling soooooo much better!

I’ve been working out (arc trainer or Just Dance) a half hour every day since a week post op, but I need to work on being more active around the house. Datsweetbabydoll 2 55 Posted January 4, 2018 Being 8 years post op, the memories are forever with you when you go through this kind of surgery. The best advice I can give you from myself going through it, is when you don’t eat enough Protein you not only lose a lot of muscle but Hair loss also! Try your best to get your protein and liquids in! wishing you much success on your journey! 1 FluffyChix reacted to this
brendamcfarlane14 7 Posted January 4, 2018 Cream of wheat is something I’m allowed during full liquid phase and omg, it was sooo good. Feels like actually eating like before - just much less of it. 1 Brittanyblue reacted to this

brendamcfarlane14 7 Posted January 5, 2018 Honestly I can’t wait till my full liquid phase to have cream of wheat! It was the most glorious thing ever. I tried it the first day of my full liquid with the fortified milk and couldn’t stomach it, but this time I just did it with regular non-fat milk (I’m having my Protein Shakes more regularly now) and it tasted so good. I used to eat it with dried cranberries and a little (very little) brown sugar, but this time I just added a few sprinkles of Splenda and Yummmmm.
