Kat1969 3 Posted December 14, 2017 looking at getting sleeved in march 2018, i have to have 3 nutritionist visits did the first one today i am looking for other lower bmi people im right at the cut off of 35 with 1co morbidity of HTN I had the gastric balloon and that was a waist of time and money yes i lost 20 lbs but that was in the first month after placement. i really wanted to do gastric sleeve instead of the the balloon but my husband wasn't to happy about that decision he is in the medical field and doesn't think i need gastric sleeve but its hard to lose and keep off at any weight. and i am so sick and tired of always being on a damn diet. so anyone who had or is gonna have VSG with a lower bmi lets chat. Meguone 72 Posted December 14, 2017 That’s me. I had to actually GAIN weight to get me to a BMI of 35 and use sleep Apnea as my cormorbimdity. It sucked. I had testing and so many visits from April 2017 till I finally got to my classes in August but it was worth it. I was sleeved on 10/30/17 and even though I was a lower weight than most at 202.4, I’m down almost 32 pounds my goal is 120 by June for Comic Con and loosing every day. I had a hard time walking, going up the steps in my own house, sleeping, everything. I just wished I had done it sooner. I had been trying for three years to get the weight off and all I did was gain. The last 7 weeks post-op I’ve lost more weight than with any other diet.
