stacie304 14 Posted December 14, 2017 What’s your biggest fear? That the surgery won’t go as planned? I’m just scared I won’t be able to keep anything down and will be nauseated all the time. And getting dehydrated scares me too. I have anxiety as it is so I worry anyway. 2 Mommyof2grlz and JeezLouise91 reacted to this

I have anxiety as it is so I worry anyway. I’m worried about staying hydrated too but I’m channeling my fear into action by researching a plan, educating myself and asking for suggestions here and elsewhere. Do you have family to help keep an eye on you?
1234567890 328 Posted December 14, 2017 Will take a while to meet your liquid intake at beginning.. eventually you will be able to get your 48 oz of Water per day. Talk to your Dr if you can drink coconut water to keep you hydrated

Do you have family to help keep an eye on you? Yes my mom thankfully. Plus she’s a nurse but she’s not too excited about the whole thing. Also worried about my medications I take and it will affect those. Dr said no but it still makes me nervous.

Dr said no but it still makes me nervous. I’ve had anxiety and depression in the past but have been clear for about two years and I am worried about such a biological change triggering that to come back. Anyway, I know what anxiety feels like so I can understand how you feel. Relax. This seems like a great move and safe operation with a couple months of discomfort for a lifetime of skinny living. I’m excited. Are you too? 2 JeezLouise91 and goldylocksbear reacted to this

Lotte22 37 Posted December 14, 2017 Great to have some buddies I’m scared as hell. Of what? I guess everything. I’m not so sick right now that a lifetime of vomiting will be worth it, so I’m taking a risk. I’m a mom to twin 3 year olds. I’m on the pre-op diet now and already my energy is too low to play with them. I’m really scared I’ll be drained of energy for months, maybe years. But I’m devoted and doing well on the diet. I want this. I need this for my health. It’s ok to be scared AND excited! 5 stacie304, JeezLouise91, Taylor5 and 2 others reacted to this

Sullie06 1,013 Posted December 15, 2017 Just wanted to say good luck to all of you. I'm a late December sleever and coming up on my 1 year anniversary of my sleeve (12/30) so I was experiencing all you are now, last year. You will do great and it's completely worth it. Just listen to your body, sip sip sip and follow your surgeons plan to a T. 2 Brittanyblue and march1 reacted to this
Lotte22 37 Posted December 15, 2017 Thanks for the encouragement. I’m struggling on the liquid diet (still responsible for feeding my family). 1 1 Sullie06 and Mitzy69 reacted to this
