MG1776 275 Posted December 13, 2017 @Mr EdwardsI'm in a similar situation, down 86lbs overall, and while visibly smaller in size, my belly seems to be stubborn and wants to be the last to go. Little things remind me of the progress made, like thinking to myself "am I going to fit in that booth, or can I make it between the chair and wall?" and find myself having no issues at all where I would have in the past. Keep at it, the belly will eventually go (at least that's what I'm telling myself). 1 FluffyChix reacted to this

FluffyChix 17,415 Posted December 15, 2017 Congrats on the 62lbs hon. That's massive! I think we all "know" what else weighs 62lbs... bahahahaha! So did you take pre-surgery piccys? I'd bust out the photos and look. I know you will be able to tell in the piccys. But it does take a while for our mind to catch up with our new bodies!!! ((hugs)) Hang in there and keep on truckin'. You'll see it soon!

KimTriesRNY 1,853 Posted December 16, 2017 I feel like the place we want the weight to come off of is the last place it actually comes off of. That’s how it’s always been for me. I am sure you look much different and congratulations on your progress! 1 FluffyChix reacted to this

Iconcinnity 209 Posted December 16, 2017 One thing you might try is measuring too. I went in for a six month research appt. and they did measurements. I was surprised to learn I've lost a total of 54 inches from all over. My mid-section was one of the highest with over 20 inches lost in that area alone! Keep at it and congrats on your journey thus far!Sent from my LG-TP450 using BariatricPal mobile app 1 FluffyChix reacted to this
