DenaeH 7 Posted December 9, 2017 I was sleeved this year on October 24th. The week after surgery I developed a UTI that turned into a kidney infection. After that, everything was fine up until recently (November 25). Since then I haven’t been able to keep any liquids down, I am very weak and fatigued all the time and I throw up Water like it’s nothing. I haven’t had any luck getting in touch with my surgeon and my primary doctor is no help whatsoever. I went to the emergency room twice only for them to say they found nothing wrong the first time and they didn’t even check to see what was wrong a second time (They didn’t even put me on a bag of fluids for the dehydration the second time around). Has anyone experienced this? I’m taking the medication they’re telling me to take but nothing is working at this point! Can someone help me?!?!
Sandee29 113 Posted December 11, 2017 Does your surgeon have an emergency #?
DenaeH 7 Posted December 11, 2017 Does your surgeon have an emergency #? He does but I am only able to get in contact with his Aides and never him. It got so bad that I went to the ER again and they were finally able to give me an answer as to what was wrong with me. I still haven’t heard from my surgeon or seen my surgeon since all of this started to happen.
bellabloom 2,467 Posted December 13, 2017 It sounds like a stricture. Time to find a new surgeon. Hope you are doing better.
