you see that type of question here a lot. We all lose weight differently, some faster some slower, each persons experience is different. you have lost a little under 15 pounds a month, I would say that is doing well.

If you read alot of these posts then surely you would have seen what the op said on other posts. How would we know if your body should have lost more ? Are you sticking to your plan ? If so then what else can you do even if it should have been more...

What you need to be wondering is if you got your expectations in check.

Well I have a lot in check and just saw my doctor yesterday and they said I was doing really great and have lost a lot fast and to keep up what I'm doing and as far as me reading the post and surely should have seen this and that no I don't sit on here and read every little thing but it seams like you might have a chip on your shoulder so with that being said maybe you should get a few things in check. And don't need to be writing on my post thank you🙂

I don't have a chip on my shoulder at all but others see these posts asking if losing a substantial amount is not enough and they start to worry and thinking there lower loss is in adiquate. It's true that if your thinking you should have lost more then your expectations are to high you will see as you go further. I won't respond on your post. At least I responded and didn't just roll my eyes like most people who see these posts.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
