SIPS in Seattle 345 Posted December 4, 2017 Seattle- you’re 3 months out how are you doing? Any words of wisdom? i literally found out Thursday that I’m going in next Monday and it’s crunch time!!!I’m doing well, I feel I’m a bit on the slow loser side but at least it’s coming off. And I guess to be expected since I am a revision. Best thing I can tell you is to walk as soon as you can. And as much as you can. Don’t worry about anything in the beginning except walking and Water. They gave me these little one ounce cups and I would line up 5 at a time. With each lap of the living room I’d take a shot. And repeat. It was the only way I could get liquids in.Good luck! Let us know how it goes and walk walk walk! 1 Suwade reacted to this
MarydeeB 0 Posted December 4, 2017 I had SIPS surgery on 10/18/17 in Kentucky. Still getting use to things I can and cannot eat. Have gas a lot and the smell is bad. Need to find out the name of pills to take to reduce the gas. I do Water aerobics about 4 times a week. Love is. My Iron is low so trying to fix that. Good luck with your surgery

AK82 3 Posted December 4, 2017 (edited) Hello! I did, 08/30/17. So far, I'm pretty happy with everything! I'm a revision from band to SIPS, as well. Best of luck to you! Edited December 4, 2017 by AK82
Suwade 25 Posted December 6, 2017 I was scheduled last January for SIPS, surgeon got in there and had to pull out due to enlarged liver. I had to lose 30+# before he would consider trying it again. I checked in with a liver specialist and was diagnosed with non alcoholic fatty liver. I am hoping for a go Monday. This pre-op diet is rough this time around. Contrive and Probiotics have been my friend... Thanks for all the well wishes. 1 SIPS in Seattle reacted to this
