ancirasd 44 Posted November 30, 2017 Hi everyone. I was wondering if you guys tried to weigh yourselves or if you waited for your doctor appointments to see how much weight you’ve lost? I’m nervous because I want to make sure I’m losing weight but I don’t want to discourage myself ya know? I look like I have lost some weight too definitely in my face and neck. Sqkysphnctr 38 Posted November 30, 2017 I weigh myself everyday, and everyday I say, "I have to stop being so obsessive" lol. But it's so fun to see the numbers drop! I would say weigh yourself unless and until it discourages you. Also take measurements of your biceps, thighs, waist, hips, etc., those will change too even if you hit a "stall" on the scale. BarbieVSG14 66 Posted November 30, 2017 (edited) I'm a big proponent in weighing every day to hold yourself more accountable--IF you can handle the normal fluctuations that happen through out the weight loss process and beyond. You get to a point when you know the difference between normal fluctuation gain or when you've been eating like an a*****e gain. Either way, you're held accountable. I got to my heaviest when I ignored the scale for years at a time. Edited November 30, 2017 by BarbieVSG14

dreamingsmall 1,125 Posted December 1, 2017 I wouldn't weigh everyday if weight fluctuations will be discouraging for you. Now you've weighed ..if you can wait for your appointment it will be so gratifying.Sent from my Vivo 5R using BariatricPal mobile app

336Mike 554 Posted December 1, 2017 I weigh every day as a means to keep track of where I'm at. I do not get discouraged though, if the scale doesn't move.VSG 10/11/17 HW = 360 SW = 292 CW = 259 GW = 220 (6'5") 1 ancirasd reacted to this
