No suggestions for you doll. Wish I could help. But hang tight and keep putting one foot in front of the other. You can do it. Saying prayers!! ((hugs))

According to my surgeon's directions after my RNY gastric bypass surgery, I was on full liquids for the first four weeks, pureed foods for the next four and then finally in week 9, I was approved for solids. So my advise is that there is no need to rush these transitions. Your stomach needs time to heal.

The transition to solids is the hardest transition of all three, so ease into it.

I had my surgery on November 8th so I am at the same stage as you. I'm so burnt out on cottage cheese, yogurt, and Soup. I lost 17 lbs at my 1 week post op weigh in and haven't lost anything else. I'm frustrated since I am only eating 4 - 500 calories a day, walking for an hour, and doing the modified T25 workouts every day. From what I have read it is "normal" to stall around this time although I just don't get why it would be normal. Are you still losing?

I'm having the same issue. Had surgery on 11/9/17 and have lost 19 lbs. And am at a stall too.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
