Hello,

I'm new here! My name is Cody. I have been working on getting a gastric sleeve since august of this year. It has move pretty quickly for me. But I am excited and nervous at the same time. The liquid diet is wonderful haha. Im located in New York. If anyone wants to talk about what you have gone through so far that would be awesome. If anyone that has had it done already and wants to talk that would be great as well. Thank you and I hope everyone is doing well.

Welcome Cody! We have the same surgery date my nerves are starting to get the best of me. A little over a week until the big day! I am one of the lucky ones that don’t have a 2 week liquid diet but I’m slowly changing my food habits. Keep in touch and we can compare and contrast our journeys. Best wishes

Just want to say that it will be the best decision you made.
Every one goes through surgery differently.
I did not have any problems what so ever.
Just walk,walk,walk to get rid of gas pain.
Follow the plan. Exercise ( walking) protein/ Water and you should do fine.
I have lost 100 lbs. I am 8 months post op sleeve.
Only thing is Constipation. I take stool softner for that.
I use to have IBS but not now.
I would recommend WLS TO anyone with health problems who can't get rid of weight.
It is a good thing!!!!

Thank you everyone for the kind words! I've been so busy that I havent been on here. With the shopping and trying to mentally prepare for the surgery and the holidays coming up I'm exhausted. If anyone wants to talk though out the day send me a message I'm taking it easy around the house.
