I wish I knew myself. I’ve been holding at 319-320 for the past week and a half. However no immediate change in the diet and getting to the gym 4 days a week, 30-45 minutes of cardio each time. However I can’t lose an ounce. I’m hoping someone will have some good pointers for us.

A week and a half is a perfectly normal stall. Water weight can hide fat loss for a few weeks at a time on the outside. Drink plenty water and lay off the salt to help clear it.

Are you going to tell is what your eating. Can't suggest things to change not knowing what your doing.

Please at least tell me the power aid and Gatorade is sugar free? If not that could be your answer right there.

A lot of us find we can't lose if we don't limit our carbs. Are you following your plan? Meeting your Protein goals?

That is probably the issue.

Most of us can’t eat whatever we want and expect to lose weight rapidly.

You could be different but if I were to eat what I want I would have a croissant, fries and some pizza. Sure it would be a minute fraction of the quantities I ate before and perhaps so small that I could trick myself into some Weightloss Lite fantasy that I am actually doing this. But it’s unlikely that you are eating according to plan.

Track your food religiously for 3 days and see what your calories and macros are. I will bet money the problem is there.

And I got you don’t like water. But too bad. Acquire the taste. Artificially sweetened drinks do our body no favors. It’s hard but you can chose to do the hard work or be on the low end of the bell curve with VSG weightloss.

You can break this and it will be up to you.

Well eating whatever you want. And not tracking when your in a stall isn't going to help yourself. If you were having no issues not tracking is fine. But how can you find what the problem is if you can't even list what you ate ?

How can all you drink be those two things ? You need to replace them with Water and maybe crystal light. Those drinks in high quantities are not ideal. Your not supposed to drink them instead of water.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
